Iced Coffee

For this summer it is very popular to have some lovely recipes to do Iced Coffee, Iced Cappuccino, frozen smoothies/frothy and all of then by brewing fresh coffee.

The basic principles are as follows:

  1. Brew some fresh coffee. Once you have it, you should let the coffee to cold out and even you can make some ice cube of these coffee made. Freeze some coffee ahead of time in an ice cube tray. For a special touch and if you are going to use these ice cubes direct to a glass, add a few of whole roasted coffee beans to each cube, (and don’t forget to warn your guests about the beans inside).  If you are going to use these cubes into a blender or mixer together with another ingredients, you may have the cubes without any beans inside.

  2. Blender. Mix ingredients you may put (see below) in a blender until ice is chopped and slushy.
  3. Milk and Sugar. Add milk (or a non-dairy milk product) and sugar to taste to the blender.
  4. Optional Ingredients.  You may add the following toppings:
  • 1 tsp vanilla  or
  • Cinnamon on top
  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Artificial Flavoring (like Irish Cream, Hazelnuts, Almonds, Amaretto, etc.)
  • Raspberry
  • Chocolate
  • Honey
  • Iced gourmet coffee

If you don’t have a blender, just use the cold coffee or the iced coffee cube directly into a glass with the milk and/or the optional toppings.

The best results will be to use the best coffee beans you may get, as we call : gourmet coffee beans.

Enjoy your summer drinking the best coffee.
